Over the past 30 years the utterly corrupt communist ANC government has turned the country into a malfunctioning economic mess with a 35 percent unemployment rate, collapsing infrastructure, rampant crime and government codified racist hatred directed at the white farmers (Boers) who have been massacred and brutalized by black gangs at an alarming rate.
The black population of 59 million are being led by the ANC and black radicals to believe that the nation's 4.5 million whites are responsible for the country's alarming economic decline when the reverse is true.
The only functioning communities or cities are those still controlled and managed by whites or the Democratic Alliance, the nation's second largest political party which governs Cape Town.
South Africa's communist government and black radical thugs like Julius Malema, fill sports stadiums with black followers who dance and chant "Kill the Boer."

All of South Africa, the thriving country built by the Dutch settlers will soon be in ruins. Most of it is already.
South Africa had the largest citrus farm in the southern hemisphere, Zebediela Citrus Estate in Limpopo, SA, more than 34,000 acres of citrus trees, shipping fruit all over the world. It was taken from the whites who built it and given to blacks to run. They cut down all the citrus trees for firewood. Satellite photos show nothing growing and all the buildings in ruin.
This story, as related by your friend, is the template for communist revolution everywhere. The South Africans don't have to be communists to do it, they're still bringing poverty in where people once made a living wage and had seemingly decent living conditions.
This is the same as Gaza. When the Israelis were there, the desert bloomed, and the infrastructure was left there intact when the strip was turned over to the Palestinians. All gone now, with poverty and terrorism all that's left.
I sincerely believe there is a serious anti-white prejudice in South Africa. Some of these people may think all they're doing is paying back for old wounds, but they're wrong. What they are doing in South Africa today is repeating the sins of the white apartheid government and claiming this is different. It's not. It's prejudice and it's the state taking something it has no right to, all in the name of "justice." It's not justice, it's terrorism. Call it what it is.
The difference is that the white government could build and maintain the complex systems that make life as we know it possible. It’s pretty obvious this requires, as I’ve written before, an average IQ on the order of 115. Sub Saharan Africa average IQ is around 70. It’s not just communism destroying S Africa. It’s the inability of the global south to understand and maintain complex systems. This intellectual inability is being spread across the West now with DEI & mass immigration.

I've been reading David Reich's book on ancient DNA, in which he covers how difficult /impossible it is to get grants or even publish anything about intelligence being heritable, or being allowed access to ancient African DNA. The bigger problem for the West right now is fertility and the replacement of the children European (and, by extension, American) women are refusing to have, by low-IQ global south denizens incapable of creating or maintaining anything in the modern world. China, too - some demographers are predicting China's population will halve by 2060. When all the intelligent people are gone from voting booths and governance.... what happens? I think we can look at both Rhodesia and S Africa to understand. It's a real problem, magnified by the refusal to study it, without which solutions cannot be arrived at...
well... it's not my monkey and not my circus and I have no wish for America to get involved there. If they choose policies ensuring their starvation, which they have done, that's on them. My concern is that the farm lobby here will ensure the feeding of starving S Africa, only to perpetuate the problem they have created for themselves. People need to experience the consequences of their actions and their votes. Or they will never change. But it's THEIR problem, THEIR choice, not ours.

Communists can always take a win and turn it into a disaster. Socialism doesn't work and never will.
