If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em

Given the heat generated by the illegal immigration debate, how about a little light?

First off, recognize that the admittance of millions of illegals is neither an “error” nor a “mistake,” nor is it based on government empathy for those not having a rule-of-law-capitalist-economy. How do we know the latter? The same people demanding admittance of illegals also yammers constantly about the evils of capitalism and private property and displays on their shirtsleeves their contempt for the rule of law ("Mostly Peaceful Protests," anyone?). Insisting on the admission of illegals is, itself, a demonstration of their dismissal of law. If Democrats wanted illegals to have the benefits of the rule of law and capitalism, they wouldn’t be doing their best to destroy both every waking hour.

Nope – these are strictly pawns, human beings about whom about whom Democrats do not care in the least. Just like the African Americans Democrats keep confined in ghettos, our worst schools (all run by Democrats), job and food and retail deserts, etc.

Open borders also have nothing to do with illegals voting. Heck, the political establishment has enough trouble figuring out which minority cohort is going to vote which way and how many fraudulent ballots they need to print up in each precinct… to allow illegals to vote and screw-up all their algorithms. Besides, what cohorts seem to be most upset by the influx of illegals? African-Americans – the voter cohort without which today’s Democrat Party would evaporate.

Open borders also have nothing to do with empathy for illegals killing themselves and getting their wives and children raped on the way here. Seriously – if American voters, particularly AWFLs, realized how many rapes, beatings and deaths were occurring, they might care, but their newsy charnels don’t touch the subject.

What is it about, then?

In 1929, Congress legislated the number of House Seats to be permanently set at 435. At the time, America had a population of 122M people, for a representation ratio of 1:280K. In 2023, America had a population of 336M, for a representation ratio of 1:772K.

Apportionment for these seats – which also defines the Electoral College votes – is based on total population. Gather up 722K live bodies and you get a Congressional seat and an Electoral College vote.

Do you see where this is headed?

Bipartisan administrations have allowed in, in complete violation of “our democracy” and democratically passed laws, “around 11 million undocumented (illegal) immigrants in the United States today, according to the Migration Policy Institute.”

Republicans allow this to occur for three reasons:

1. The Chamber of Commerce, not grasping that if we want a First World economy, we must pay First World wages, wants them to “do the jobs Americans won’t do,” which, translated into Common Sense, means to “do the jobs Americans won’t do for Third World wages.” Short form: You can have a free country under the rule of law or a cheap salad, pick one.

2. They are too stupid to grasp why the Democrats are doing what they are doing

3. They just don’t care

Those 11 million illegals? That’s 15 Congressional seats; 15 Electoral College votes. Remind me, what is the current Republican majority in the House of Representatives… six?

Democrats demand open borders for one reason: To create a single-party Progressive (Communist) state.

How’s this work? Easy: Pack these new bodies into a sure-fire Blue metro – like the ones to which various Red-state governors are busing them, and those Blue metros become much, much bluer by adding 15 Representative and Votes; whether they vote or not is immaterial. From where will those 15 Representatives come? Red Suburban and Rural districts; were still capped at 435.

While it’s entertaining for Abbott and DeSantis to bus illegals to “Sanctuary” cities and make them put their money where their votes are, endanger their citizens, and screw-up the education of their kids, in the long run it would be better to place them in the hinterlands to boost (red) apportionment, because right now, they are creating more blue, and deeper-blue metros, a bluer Congress and a bluer Electoral College.

If the idea is to save TX and FL taxpayers the money for housing and feeding these criminals (yes, illegal aliens are criminals by definition), over the long run the citizens of FL and TX will be better off paying for them in their states rather than turning America communist, which is the goal, a goal they are furthering by shipping illegals to Democrat metros.

… but they don’t have to..

If Red states sued the federal government for the costs of illegals under the anti-Commandeering Doctrine, which “prohibits the federal government from “commandeering” state personnel or resources [like tax dollars to pay the expenses of illegals the Court just ruled are entirely the responsibility of that federal government] for federal purposes,” and built them (providing jobs to them) a bunch of houses (again, with federal monies under anti-Commandeering), fed them, (ditto) and placed them in such a way as to increase Republican apportionment… well.. Democrats might – just might, mind you – decide to close those borders or face an insurmountable Republican majority in the House and Electoral College.
