I’ll worry when …

Until then they’re just preening for the cameras while demanding entitlements

There are an awful lot of people in America today demanding stuff they’ve not earned. The stuff they’re demanding is, in large part, stuff - products and services and infrastructure - envisioned, invented, built and provided by those whom these groups say they hate; people they say must be eliminated.

Normal educated Americans recognize this for the utter nonsense it is.

Rarely discussed, however, is that none of these groups believe their nonsense. If they actually believed it, we’d be having an entirely different discussion.

As for me, I’ll worry about women and blacks demanding equality when they demand an end to Affirmative Action & DIE and lowered - eg unequal -  standards.

I’ll worry about BIPOC yakking about “cultural appropriation” when they give up refrigeration, mechanized transport, clothing from mechanized looms, electrical appliances, water & electrical & sewage grids, fertilized food production, electronic communications and computation, phones, radios, TVs, literacy…

I’ll worry about blacks not being hired when they stop rejecting math, science, history, punctuality, etc., and educate and apply themselves to reach merit parity.

I’ll worry about inner city kids and families when their own parents - both of them - do, and when they stay in school and stop shooting each other.

I’ll worry about women being run out of sports and being attacked in the streets as a result of Democrat policies when women stop voting in the majority for Democrats.

I’ll worry about 150-year-old whines about slavery and “reparations” when those demanding them support Christianity and Western Civ (the only civilization that ever ended slavery) and start attacking places and ideologies in which slavery still is accepted and practiced: Africa, Islam, China, any totalitarian country.

And I’ll worry about illegal immigrants demanding to be allowed into America for a better life AFTER they’ve spent a few generations implementing uncorrupted governments based on law in their own countries.

… and not before.

Until then? They’re all just whining & pining for stuff made by the people they reject.

What really must be accepted is this:

All of these demands are made on those who did … by those who did not, on those who educated and applied themselves … by those who did not, on those who dreamed and envisioned and invented and worked to make the world better … by those who did not.

If they don’t like me or my toys, I’m happy to take my toys and go home.  I do wonder, however, if I leave my toys - who will maintain them, and who will build new toys for them? (1)

These entitled cohorts rage against paternalism as they demand we act paternalistically toward them.

If we are demanded to quit acting paternalistically, let’s do so.

As community demands we go along with the demands of these cohorts so we all can get along.. we should do so.

They demand we withdraw and that they are capable on their own. Ok.

Who are we to argue? All they have to do to reject us is to reject our stuff, too. Otherwise, like drivers of EVs recharging their batteries from fossil-fuel-generated electricity … they’re just pretending

Until then?

They’re just spoiled whining children and must be recognized as such.

Time to grow up.
